I've been wanting to get rid of my hood latch assembly and go to hood pins but I don't like the old style ones or the 1/4 turn fasteners. I want something that locks, so I don't have to worry about people being able to get in there, and something low profile so its not immediately obvious. I saw some low profile ones on some import sites, but they don't look very strong. I'd like to just use 2 in the front (I have a hinged bolt on hood), but its gotta be secure at 140 mph.

Any ideas?
