Default Hatch problem...

How can I open the hatch from in side trunk?My car does not have trunk release inside car or remote. Lock is broken. How can I get it open?

Their should be a trunk release button below the dash and under the headlight switch. and its a yellow button

There is a yellow button under where the lights are.

ok i also have an 84 berlinetta camaro we are restoring and the key for the back hatch was lost so to open it i got a flat head screw driver and a hammer. bang it in and open it up. to fix it the tabs it presses against will flatten back out and then you need to get another lock and key. junk yard or used. fbodymotorsports.com
