o2 question Is it ok to run the car with the o2 disconnected? I changed mine and the car ran like ****, but disconnected it today it it ran just ifne. SES light still cmes on, but never had any problems before, was just annoying.

You can run it disconnected, but the car will see no activity and just revert to open loop. It'll be the same as if you just started your car when it's cold. It's gonna dump fuel, you'll be getting terrible mileage. Plus other monitors such as smog things will never run and you'll probably get more codes.

I was averaging ~22mpg before I changed the o2 the first time, and that is when it started running like it did. Only codes I ever got before were right bank o2 open and right bank lean.
