Default Replacing exhaust manifold gasket....ticking

I have a liud tick that is only there at startup and for about 30 seconds, then completely disappears. So Im assuiming its the drivers side manifold gasket. Injectors or lifters would tick always correct? Question is, can I just rmeove the bolts and slide a new gasket in, or do I have to remove the y-pipe and actually pull the manifold? Any tips welcome, thanks

For a manifold gasket leak, you'll obviously have to remove the center bolts. I forget if stock manifold gaskets have tabs at the end as opposed to bolt holes. If they're tabs, you can just loosen the end bolts. You MAY have to loosen the bottom of the manifold so it can move slightly. It's not hard at all, but definitely helps with a second person underneath, prying the manifold outward once it's loosened.

Where did the manifold crack on yours? I am pretty cure its coming from the gasket as it is visibly cracked just from looking at it and the tick seems to be coming from right next to the valve cover...im going to swap a gasket in tomorrow, hope i dont break any bolts...
