Exclamation need some advise

guy has my t56 i bought a rebuild kit, bearing kit steel 3-4 fork, and billet struts for the 3-4 gear all from d&d.. he now wants me to buy a 3rd gear and a forth gear becuase he says there a little worn but my car only hit 60000 before i took the tranny out and when i could get in it 3rd the gear didnt slip niether did fourth .....so i need some advise on to use the gears that ive got or go spend 450$ on 2 new ones....what do u think

Doesn't matter if it slipped. The 3rd gear and 4th gear get worn due to slider issues, worn blocker rings or damaged clutch. If he wants you to replace it you diffianatly should. Better safe and if it is worn and you put new sliders or blocker rings it will only damage those if you don't.

Post pics of the gears with a close up of the small teeth were the slider rides on . I should be able to determine whether they are usuable or not .
