Default msd cap and rotor question

will an msd cap and rotor work on the stock distributor? cuase i gotta do my tune up and i wanna get the best stuff as far as plugs,wires, and cap and rotor. what'd you guys use? <- haha

It will work but make sure you get it for the correct year. Also for a little more cash you can get a whole brand new distributor from Dal or Jason.

The only benefit to the MSD cap and rotor is that it vents the earlier type of optisparks(93-94 f-bodies). Other than that the AC Delco piece is proven to last 80k miles and more. I say 80k because thats about when mine died and that is early compared to others that have lasted way beyond 100k.

BTW the distributor from Dal or Jason will be an AC Delco piece.
