Re: best looking and fitting aftermarket ss spoiler
I noticed the other day an ad by GM restoration parts division that they are selling the complete LS1 SS spoiler, genuine GM stock, for $399.
Just thought I would pass that along.
GM part, new, and in the same price ballpark as the aftermarket parts. From what I have heard, the stocker fits best. The aftermarket quality follows the old rule, "you get what you pay for". The lower the price of this spoiler, the worse the fit. The high priced brands tend to have fewer complaints by my observations of the LS1 boards.
Good luck
Dave

I have a 99' Camaro, and have often toyed with the idea of putting a Firebird or Trans Am rear hatch on the car. I like the spoiler alot better. I would need to have some custom body work done though.
