You have a T/A by the looks of it in your sig. My insurance card on my T/A WS6 said Firebird Formula Trans Am for some reason after they put the vin #.

Don't listen to anything but your RPO sheet. WS9 is Formula, which all T/As will have, I think WS4 is TA, but there are other RPOs that make it a T/A. Like "Appearance Package" RPOs. WS4 is "Model Conversion".

Actually the Vin # doesn't distiguish between Formula or Trans Am it merely states that it is a V8 Firebird. and thats where his confusion is from.

All V8 Firebirds will have the WS9 RPO (Formula Conversion Package) This does not mean it's a Formula, One of the following RPO's must be present to identify what model the car is.
All Formula's will have the W66 RPO (Formula Merchandise Package)
All Trans Am's will have the Y82 RPO (Trans Am Merchandise Package)

WS9 + W66 = Formula
WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
WS9 + W66 + WS6 = Formula WS6
WS9 + Y82 + WS6 = Trans Am WS6

That's kinda what I was getting at, but I didn't go in depth like you did. I didn't want to fight to remember which RPO (W66, Y82) was which car

But, what he said is all correct.

Also, that's what annoys me about people and their WS9 hood.

No problem here I just always like to get and give out correct information.
Yeah the WS9 Hood thing is pretty Dumb considering the real RPO has nothing to do with Ram Air.
