do these cars really take 4 gallons?

nobody knows? i read it on here but i cant find the thread anymore. i just flushed the **** out of mine and it only took 2 gallons? is that normal? or what? my low coolant light isnt on.. it was at first then it warmed up an went off?

mine took about 2 gallons of a 50/50 mix. but i didnt flush mine. i just changed the water pump so there was still some left in the block. start and stop your car a few more times. see if that will clear the low coolant light. i know thats a pretty common problem when you change the fluid

yea the coolant light is off. i let it get warm an shut it off. let it cool down an popped the cap off an it was full so idk?

as long as its running where its suppose to be and u see some fluid after the stat opens ur good

ok cool. when i was filling it back up i opending the bleeder closer to the battery an heard burst of air as i was filling. once i got a gallon ana half in the coolant started coming out of the bleeder. so i put the cap on an started it an i got a straight shot of coolant coming out. i used water bottle to catch it so it wouldnt cream my opti

anyone have a write up on how to do a manual fan switch?
