Maf Hp?? I purchased the SLP MAF took the screen out and installed it on my car. SLP sais it will add 10hp but after talking to my buddy that works at the dyno he told me to put my stock one back on. He said he has seen a MAF hurt a cars hp but not help it unless it has forced induction. I dont think it is running lean but im not for sure. I have the predator programmer. Should i turn up my fuel, or put the stock one back on?

yea it does but it shows adding your fuel by % 1-5 from 2-4rpms and from 4-7rpms and im not for sure how to get the most power out of it. It wont let me advance the timing but it will let me retard it which i think would take power away.

Bingo. The SLP maf will help some cars and hurt others. Seen this personally with a SLP mag with removed resistor, plugged it into one guy's car and black smoke. Plugged it into another and it worked great. It all comes down to AFR and how it is calibrated.
