Default Engine Running Hot!! Please help...

Hey all, im stuck. See if anyone had this problem.

My coolant has been running hotter than normal latley.
At first it was really bad, around town it would be around 210 then i would hot the highway and it would jump to 250-260!

So recently i put a new 160 stat in, new cap, new temp sending unit, cleaned and flushed the radiator, i even took out my a/c condensor so the radiator will get more air.
After all that it helped a little but not what i want.

Now it will idle in the driveway all day and stay around 175. once i hit the street it will climb to around 200-220 and stay there.

What are your guys cars running at normally??
Im in CT and its like 75 degrees, not humid and still running warm!
Im have a scanmaster to keep track of the temp.

Also my fans are working fine and my air dam is in place.
The only thing i didnt replace was the waterpump and radiator.
The car has 45,000 miles and every thing looks clean and fine to me!!
This is bugging me out!!

Any info would be great!! Thanks!

The water pump might be clogged, which would decrease coolant flow to the block and heads etc.

is there any mods done lately . cars run hot if the two small hoses under the radiator cap are switched . those being the steam line and overflow lines .
other than that , i would say the waterpump needs to be checked . could be one of the propellers to a bearing inside it .

i replaced my thermostat on my 02 camaro and it over heated big time. I found out that the two bolts that hold on the thermostat are to be torqued at 7 inch pounds( is what the instructions said). I retightened them to that spec and had no problems at all.

Did u reprogram the fans to come on sooner after the stat install? Also what is you mix of coolant / antifreeze?
