Default just broke my rear end witch on is the best??

so i went t othe treack yesterday with(01 SS m6 409 rwhp 391rwtq ) cam only car on stock 10 bolt with 26 inch m/t slicks and go figure the rearend snapped on my first try. i even rode the clutch at first got it rolling and then let it go at like 3800 rpm and it didnt hold. anybody ever try putting a spool with moser axles in a stock 10 bolt housing?> would it hold? i just dont have the money right now for a 12 bolt/. with a 4.30 gear that is . any input much thanx

Since you don't have the money for a "REAL" rear end, check out the for sale section for someones used stock unit, and DO NOT use slicks until you can afford a "REAL" rear end. Trying to upgrade your ten bolt is pretty much useless - that is money that you can stick away and save until you have enough to actually step up to a 9" or an S60 (since you're a stick, I'd probably stay away from the 12 Bolt)

That is a great price if it is brand new and includes shipping. Here is my price on a new one, which also includes shipping. Bob
