Question OIL seepage

I just installed my GMMG's today, and while the car was lifted.. i noticed that the front seal for the rear end is leaking.... I think the seal is only about 25 bucks.. I've heard some ppl say it isn't from the gasket area, it's from the axle area, and is considered normal for most f-bodies. Is this true? Or should i call GM and request the part, and figure it out on my own... any help would be great, thanks a bunch guys.

Mine does the same thing. I've heard as long as it's not dripping on the ground, then it should be ok. I just check the diff axle fluid a little more frequently though.
