Default Sorry Track Times With Cc503 Last Night

Last night I went to the track and expected to run at least a 12 sec pass but instead ran a the first run a 13.7 @100mph and the second run was a 14.2 @98. Now I know that is **** because I have ported and polished heads from port pros and all the supporting mods even suspension and tires which are mickeys by the way I have a 97 SS it has has a Bryan Herter mail order tune. I noticed that after the runs when I'd go to the pits it sounded as if it were starving for gas kind of like when you fool around with a carb and turn it down low then turns off when you put in drive. Thats what my CAMARO was doing it whould shut off in drive unless I would give it gas. then I would let it idle for a bit for a couple of minutes and then would be fine. My bro told me it sounds like it's starving for gas I have svo 32# injectors and fuel pressure reg. but do not know what it should be set at I was wondering if any one knows what my fuel pressure should be at or any help what be greatly appreciated. My 60" foot was 1.9 and everything went south from there

As usual, start with tune-up parts. Do the fuel filter first, regardless of when you changed it last. One bad tank of gas can ruin one.

I would scan it, that bryan herter tune could be the problem. Iv'e had problems with him in the past, although i know that people have had good luck with him.

It's a fresh motor 355 only has 1315 miles and no it does it whenever I get on it. But had a motor prior to it and I think I can remember that when it was being tuned they fulled around with fuel pressure regulator. That is why I wanted to if anybody has any clue as to how many psi it should be set to. Yes this is the first time I run with this motor and when it was stock I ran 13.9 @99mph. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

check the pressure with a gauge. and scan it to see if you are getting knock retard or any other problems.
