Default I need your Advise Plz

Guys i have a project engine swap into 4X4 landcruiser but i really i dont know which engine to be choicen Ls2 5.7 or vortec 5.3 6.0 engine ?
If i choice Vortec 6.0 or 5.3 is't more powerful than Ls1 5.7 or no different?
Is the vortec engines easy to upgrade like turbo & cam ....etc?

Thanks

I would choose the LS2(if that's an option). It's got the aluminum block like the LS1 but the displacement of the truck 6.0. It also comes with 243 heads(LS6).

Its also three times the cost....

Go with the LQ4 or LQ9 cast iron 6L motors. There's a million of them and you can buy whole ones for around $1500....

^ Agreed, a truck motor will make more torque in the usable range for your application.

THe extra few pounds for the iron block won't matter much in your application. I would go with the LQ9...
