what kind of lap top do you need for auto tap? whats the requirements?, and could you download and then put on home pc, also does ls1 edit have same features, what's everything I would need to get the car tuned 100% perfect??? thanks...

Re: what kind of lap top do you need for auto tap? Need to have a 9 pin serial port. HP's and Compaqs up to 1.8 celerons have them. You might have trouble with a port replicator, so just make sure it has a 9 pin on the back. I just got a Compaq 1.8 at best buy for 799. Not a bad deal. I noticed about 90 percent of the LapTops there did not have serial ports. Everybody is going to USB.
