getting different cam need help
i have heads the guy i bought them from said they flowed 260/190
986 springs, , pace setter long tubes headers, pcm tuned, 4.10 gears, 1.6 RR bowties i think therefrom the hot cam kit. harden pushrods. spec stage 1 clutch and steel spec flywheel. i think thats it oh if you didnt get the clutch thing its a M6.
well i have a comp cam 306, but im getting bad reviews with this. i want alot of torque so what should i get i want to do everything on the 5th.
and i ask the place that i got the cam if i can send it in and get a different one so hopefully they let me but if they dont just pm me if you want this cam.

For a street car with a 6-speed the crane 227 was my favorite cam by far. I've had 3 different cams in my car so far so I think I'm a decent judge of that. Bigger isn't always better. It had instant torque off idle, the gm 846 I had was down on power on the crane 227 until 5800 RPM's so it actually slowed me down, and my bre cam was pretty much gutless below 3k and had quite a bit of cam surge.
