Default Y-Pipe Replacement?

I am going to replace my bullet muffler with a Magnaflow Bullet style and would also like to replace my Y pipe with a magnaflow one. I think the inlets are 2.5 and I want a 3" outlet. Can just this one piece be replaced without any problems or does it require cutting and welding? Thanks

I would tell an exhaust shop what you want. The fabbed ones are much better for clearance among other pluses in the greater scheme of things. I would much rather prefer this over any off the shelf brands. It can sometimes work out in your favor pricewise as well. Just depends on where you go.

I don't know what's around here as far as the custom fabbed ones. I see that magnaflow has the 2.5's in and 3 outlet for about $26. Is there anyone here that does the custom ones? Thanks
