ls1 into an 85 4x4 pickup questions
im getting a 98 trans am, and am going to use everything possible from the car to swap the engine into my truck. i have a few questions
1. will my 700r4 bolt up including converter?
2. what motor mounts to use?-fab up my own or anyone sell any
3. what headers or manifolds to use?
4. and the last big thing would the oil pan have any issues in this
obviousally im staying fuel injected and using the wiring harness from the car, computer, and radiator. if anyone done a swap similar to this(solid axle pickup) can you give me a heads up on any little things that i'll probably not think about.

I put a 6.0 in my 1990 so it is a bit different but there are a number of people at www.ls1truck.com that have done this swap and they have the info you seek. There are some on this site that have done the same but the other site is a bit more focused on your application.
