Question IAT Sensor Location

I've been running a Whisper lid for years but the necks cracked on it. So I bought one of the clear MTI lids to repace it with but it has no IAT hole in the lid like the Whisper does. I run a Fast Toys Ram Air so would I be better off relocating the IAT sensor on to the duct work of the ram air or should I just pick out about the same location as on the Whisper lid and drill a hole in the clear one for a 98 Z28 Camaro?

Not sure where you'd put it on the FTRA, you mean before the filter? Wouldn't do that, thinking it would get dirty really fast. I'd just drill a hole in the lid in the same location it was.

i would say stick a resister in there!! i forgot the corect resistance but when you do that it will advance the timing giving you more horsepower the pcm will think the car is getting 36 degrees of cold air, check on installuniversity.com

Get a 85mm maf and get the pace performance connecter. The 85mm maf has a built in iat sensor built in.
