Default Electronic Tach Issue

Can anyone tell me how I can get a tach that is set up for single coil (old school) applications to work with my LS-7? If the tach electronics must be changed, does anyone know who can do this conversion? It is a built-into-the dash instrument and I need to keep the stock face and housing. Thanks.

Tach wire from pcm, black connector (C1), pin #48, white wire. This puts out a 4 cylinder signal. If your tach can't be setup for a 4 cyl signal, Dekota Digital makes an interface box that will change the signal, or, I think the PCM can be reprogrammed for an 8cyl signal.
