Turned my car into a racecar yesterday
. But does your bounce off the rev limiter like 3 times before it shifts into 3rd? cuz I know mine does

Thanks Rick. Interested in doing the whole car?? The paint on the bumper is peeling(you can see in the one pic) and the clear is peeling on the pass fender. plus I bought a ss spoiler months ago that needs to go on. But i figured when i get some money together to just get the whole car repainted

Lookin good. I guess mine is still a racecar.
I've since removed the stripes, but thats the farthest I've gotten. Saved up the money to have it painted and bought an LS6 intake instead. Oh well, what are you gonna do. I'll be puttin the car away in the next 2 months so I'm just gonna have it painted next spring.

Spaz & Sean: If you guys are having trans issues (sounds like the clutch packs to me), let me know if you need a trans built. FLT is running a special now, and they can build you one for a great price. And you know how good the one in my car works

Yes when the trans heats up the 2-3 shifts will peg the limiter a few times, also when im at a stop light it feels like its barely in drive, but if i idle foward a foot or 2 it kinda feels like it grabs agian.
Thats and my 71 is pissing trans fluid...
