Just Wondering The Pros And Cons On Locking The Verter At Wot?
Currently Lockup Is Disabled Past 75% Tps In My Car Was Thinking To Allow For Wot Lockup At 100% Tps If Engine Speed Is Say 5000-6700 Rpms
But I Am Unsure If This Is :
1: Safe
2: Good For Performance

i've heard of manually locking up converters at the top end to give you a little extra "kick"
it can't be all that healthy for the converter... i wouldn't think so atleast.

It will put some extra wear on the converter . May or may not help in the top I have heard both sides of that, They do make multi disk converter that are intended to do WOT lockup

ive done it numerous times havent really run back to back tests but from racing on different nights im seeing 1-2 tenth gains. and about 1-2 mph. like they said tho most converters wont take a wot lockup.
