Default Auburn Diff: How Much Friction Modifier?

I have a 2002 Camaro SS with the Auburn diff installed by SLP. I know that the Auburn gets 80w-90 non-synth and the GM friction modifier. My question is--just how much modifier?

Some posts on the forum seem to suggest one bottle (4 oz.).
This website states that the SLP owner's manual insert says 2 oz. should be used.
And the Auburn website says that for their aftermarket diffs, 3 oz. per quart of fluid should be used.

So what's the fraking answer???

Just did mine this last weekend. Add 4oz. of friction modifier, then top off with the oil. I used Lucas 80w-90w which worked real well. If it sounds clunky or or chatters around turns alot you can add more modifier. The bottle from GM was all i needed. (mine took 1 3/4 quarts of oil) Quited mine right up!

Use the whole 4 oz. Wont hurt anything. I put two bottles in mine once.

use non-synth oil +
GM modifier
2 oz= better grip but more noise
4 oz= less noise but less grip
