so i have a 98 h/c/i m6 z28 and a guy here in my home town just bought a 96 s10 with a 5.3l in it the motor is stock besides a hot cam and headers. he also said he pulled a ls1 camaro that runs 12.7 on motor by 4 cars. i know his truck weighs less then my car but i dont think that it could be pushing more than 340 hp and my stock 4.3l s10 ran 16.3 on its best pass. so who do you think would win in a race.

I think he may be yanking your chain. I think you would pull on him more than him pulling on you

sdimess84 what does your truck run

His truck may weigh less than your car but it is difficult to get an s10 to hook without some major suspension mods. He probably pulled a v6 camaro by 4 cars.

his trucks lowered with traction bars and we are both running nittos so we will probably go from a roll to save the tire frying

I have only ran my truck once. But I had fuel trims all messed up, faulty o2s, open differential, and street tires. I had everything against me. But I ran a 10 sec 1/8 mile.
