New kid, 79 C10 P/U
Hey kids,
Brad here, i've been cheking up on threads for a few months now here and figured i might as well become a member and contribute.
79 Heavy Chevy C10 P/U (dying to carry an LS1)
406 SBC trying for 500HP, 200R4 (holding me back from 12's)
6 point roll bar, boxed frame, parallel 4 link, coilovers
i've been through just about every problem with the SBC
Student at WyoTech in Blairsville, PA
Destined to move west and build sandrails (Oversized LS1 Jewelry Box)
I love LS engines, SB, BB, GNX V6, basically any chevrolet engine with 6 cylinders or more.
And of course im big into cummins turbo diesels that easily put the LS engines to shame (sorry, had to say it)

68? very nice, i'd love to get my hands on one of those. as for the 406, i hope you have a superb cooling system with it, they like to heat up. i broke a cam in mine after i pegged the temp. gauge 280+, destroyed the valvetrain.... but it was fun. it's been rebuilt since but not running now. Eventually i'll either build it forged to 421, or just slap a cummins 6BT in it. im a starving college student, it sucks not having money.
