Default Cat eye halos

Well they looked like the latest and greatest thing so I figured WTF. Let me tell you something..............piece of ****. Dont fit right, arent nearly as bright as I expected and that ******* weather stripping was falling off the minute I took it out of the box. Anyone else had experience with these? I am thinking of bashing them with a bat, burning, and then mailing back to sender.

Are you talking about the dual halo projectors?

If so, shame on you for buying those ugly things in the first place

The projector ones with dual halos off ebay?

Yeah, I posted up some comments about them a while ago when I installed them.

They fit like ****, total crap material, not worth the hassle, angle straight towards the ground, fit like ****, fit like ****...and fit like ****.

I'm in the process of trying to find a screw to hold the stupid *** H3 bulb in place since the stock one stripped out the first time I tried to put the HIDs in.

Then I will be selling them and just accept my losses.

Yep, these. They look pretty cool actually, just dont fit worth a flying ****. I am not really in the loop as to what is a quality product. Will someone please post a couple of options to ebay links that are a good product? If so, I will post video of me shooting these mother ******* with a 12 gauge.

Matt, she blowed up. There are a coupe of points of contention as to exactly why. I feel like it was very bad setup on the machine shops part and then a compounding problem with the pcv waste getting back into the engine. #7 piston ring land sploded and ALL the other cylinders were only at 70% seal. I have a more reputable guy building me one as we speak. Actually going to drop the rings off in the morning and should have it back by next Friday.

Great info brother, I appreciate that. You described my scenario to the T. Gap between the bumper, toward the ground, etc. I have the car apart right now, but I will go ahead and take a look tomorrow and see how much that helps by the look of it.

My ride is still running strong, other than the tranny... still slipping.. I feel as though it's on it's last leg...

Trying to save some coin for an RPM ( Indiana NOT Lewisville) tranny.. "Level4"

Good luck buddy, keep me posted on your progress..

Goober, I thought you got that trans a while back. Your current one must have been slipping for 6 months at this point. All should be well this time around. Its a forged piston/rod with a polished LS6 crank and all the other hardware the last one had. Hell, the blown up one made 445/405 hurt. Get that tranny and shoot me a pm, we can grab lunch one day and catch up.
