New Best N/A Time 1/4 & 1/8 Mile

New Best N/A Time 1/4 & 1/8 Mile I drove the car up to Montgomery Alabama several weeks ago to get some new 1/4 mile times...but i didnt even make it out of the burnout box without the rear end breaking.
I shredded the pinion gear smooth. Luckily my friend from base was with me and lived there, So i had to get a tow truck (thank god i had towing coverage) and draged it to his house.
I left it there a week, and accuired a built 10 bolt with 3:90's and borrow a friends truck and trailor to go up there , fix the car , and race it again.
After getting the rear end in, and everything working fine, i put it on the trailor and rolled out to the race track...
First run....
11.57 @ 117.8 with a 1.64 60ft time spinning slightly.
I was happy!
7.38 @93.06 in the 1/8
Next run....I tryed to make a n20 pass on the 125 shot....
i was going against a car that ran 11.4's and had alittle juice if needed....and the side bets started ....lol ... gotta love AL.
TO bad i disapointed em....car ran hard out of the hole, shifted 2nd...and i started pullin this guy i was racing, then the car hit the limiter and didnt want to shift!
Ended up burning out 3/4 gear..... i think the other rear end breaking while doing a burnout messed it up, and the extra power from the n20 helped it go.
But regardless , i got a new best N/A time.
n20 times to come once the tranny is rebuilt again...lol thank god i got a tranny sponcer now.
Main mods are.
"Trak" Cam only LS6
Mac mid lenth headers, custom h-pipe/ cutout, borla exhaust
ported Tb, gto air intake, asp ud,
4L60E with a TCI 3000 stall.
10 bolt with Torsen LS and 3:90 gears
Full suspension
