Anyone ever remove the anodizing off of AN fittings?

Default Anyone ever remove the anodizing off of AN fittings?

If so, what did you use and how did the fittings come out? Also, if you have any pics, please post them.

House hold oven cleaner will remove the anodizing and leave a raw finish.

over cleaner works the best, but it has to be the orignial scent. the lemon for some reason doesn't work as well

will you have to like do anything to keep it from getting nasty or hazzy or anything like that?

Relax man, it probably get's dirty looking alot quicker, but nothing you wouldn't clean off as you would w/ the anodizing still on.

i'm cool like a cucumber


i've just never heard of stove cleaner working for that.

i'm just wondering if the fittings would turn like a milky color or somthing

Aren't they aluminum??? If they are, just polish them.
