i have a stock lq4 engine, and was going to go thru it and freshen up the shortblock, add arp rod bolts, go thru the heads, replace the valve springs, and add a z06 cam-im using a disc procharger, with an intercooler
i think the comp. is around 9.4-how much boost will the pistons take-they are factory coated-thanks

ive ran 13psi for many miles on mine, stock everything, thats about 700hp at the crank Gary

I'd add better connecting rods and pistons while you are at it, so that you don't have to worry about it. Bob

They will take a quite a bit of boost as long as the tune is spot on and you dont get any detonation.
