Default Best Head Unit

Hey guys i got a quick question. I got a TA recently and the head unit on the car works but the time gets funny sometimes and you can't read what it says. The car has the monsoon system now but I would like to upgrade the head unit. I have an older Alpine in my truck now and was looking at the CDA-9883 version from Alpine for the car. I was wondering what you guys have and what you guys recommend. I listen to pop, rock, country, and a little of everything in between. I'll probably never put a sub in but might upgrade the speakers. Thanks

do you want ipod connectivity, usb, etc... or will you only deal with cds. i would at least get a head unit that is mp3 capable. then you can fit a sh!tload of songs on one disc.

i have the 9883 and love it, it will play mp3 cds as well as hook up to the ipod, there is some things i would change on it though, i dont like the fact that you cant see the song name and the clock at the same time and there are a few quirks in the ipod interface that taking getting used to but i have no problems what so ever and a very good head unit!
