Poly Tranny Mount Poss. Issue?

Poly Tranny Mount Poss. Issue?
I'll make it short, but I have too much play in my shifter, and am going to be getting a poly tranny mount.
Question: I have heard this will create added strain on other parts of the drive-train since they will want to wiggle but the tranny will not give as much anymore, possible causing greater damage. I have yet to hear anyone have such an issue, but I want to bring it up incase there are people out there that might have had issues (I'm not talking about vibrations etc) or have heard of others breaking something or think poly tranny mount is a bad idea.
Thanks again.

I've got one and it actually made my whole car feel stiffer. You definitely want one. I still have the stock engine mounts but I've got the poly engine mounts sitting in the floor in the living room They will be added one of these days. Since your ypipe is connected to the tranny it also stopped the banging for me. Highly recommended IMHO
