Hey everyone ive been lurking around for a couple of weeks. i mostly hang out on performancetrucks.net. my story is ive been modding and tuning my truck and then went with nitrous. my goal was a high 13 sec pass on stock wheels and tires. I realize after spraying the f*#$ out of it its not going to happen without a cam and at least a 3000 stall. I really dont want to get into the engine on a 1 year old truck with only 19k on the clock and make the truck not reliable anymore so im not. i have been doing alot of searching and see that i can probably pick up a decent used LT1 trans am for around $6500 bucks cash. so thats what im working on. i figure im going to switch my N20 setup from my truck to the car and do full bolt ons and possibly get a high 12 sec pass.
