Textraila owners: question..
Just installed my Tex OZ700 and had a quick question, I notice a much lower clutch pedal actuation with the Tex vs. my old RAM HD, is this characteristic of the OZ700? THe gears engage with no problem but the engagement is just so close to the floor that I thought maybe it was something that could be altered, apprieciate any feedback

I had the same thing when I put mine in so installed a Mcleod adj master. Then I found out that Tex doesn't want you to do that. So I put in a new stock master that I bench bled with the slave. Seemed to help but still not quite right. That's when I did this...

you do not want the clutch engagement low on the floor you want it to be roughly even with the brake pedal. you will end up having the same problem I had which was a broken 2nd gear. I found out that having a low engagement clutch pedal is really hard on the slider assy. in side the trans (mainly when your speed shifting or power shifting)

I noticed how if it isnt to the floor on a fast shift to second, chunnnkkkkk, ouch second gear...you still in there? One of the downsides to having low engagement. I replaced all hyrdos and drill modded her too.

Just thouht I'd report back, I brougt the car in to work, bled the clutch and my god.. 110% better! Clutch picks up a good few inches from the bottom now, feels alot
more stock like, so if you're having these issues try a good clutch bleed, works wonders.
