Default reverse problems

i just got my tranny fully rebuilt with zo6 clutch and it is still hard to get it into reverse. i have to bang it over to get it in. i read somewhere it could be the skip shift is on the reverse solenoid or something? any help

do a search. i have the same issue and many possible solutions are available. they are long winded and it would be a waste of one's time to repost it.

Think you're on the right track, sounds like the reverse lockout solenoid if it's just hard to get it over. Can also happen if the ENG SEN fuse is blown, skip shift and reverse lockout are on the same circuit, along with the MAF and 02's - should throw a code though. If a shop installed it bring it back and have them check it out.

it through an 02 sensor low voltage code but i got it replaced and it went away
