Performance intake info needed...
Can anyone give me a breakdown of how much extra power (RWHP) a ported LS6 intake could yeild, compared to a FAST 78, or FAST 90? Is it possible that with a MS4 cam only (stock heads) a FAST 90 would hurt the power levels?

FAST 78= waste of money. LS6 intake is very good for the price- don't worry about porting them as you don't gain much if anything.
People say that a FAST 90 on stock cubes can hurt power but have yet to see a dyno to prove it. Most people pick up around 20-30 rwhp with one.
Weiand is going to be coming out with a new intake that looks promising and should flow about as well as a FAST 90 but cost hundreds less.
If you are going FI- then stick with a ls6 intake as there are numerous FI guys that use them. A FAST comes in pieces and it could be hard tracking down vacume leaks.

I have the LS6 w/ stock heads and it gave me some good power, you will get more hp with either FAST intake than the LS6. I've also been told the FAST is the best intake for N/A cars and the LS6 for power adders. I will be upgrading to a FAST eventually. Just my $.2
