Replacing clutch, pilot bearing question i'm about to replace my clutch this coming weekend with the ls7 clutch and ls2 flywheel,, i'm also going to replace my slave with the 01-02 model one and go ahead and install a new master cyc. as well,, i was wondering if while i'm in there i should go ahead and replace the pilot bearing? the car has 95k miles,

I'd replace, but until you take it apart, you don't know the wear condition. when I changed my clutch I did get one, but upon taking it apart I got to inspect the pilot bearing and saw a perfectly fine bearing with still a good amount of factory grease in it and little to no wear. Comparing it to the new pilot bearing in hand, couldn't tell it had 60k miles.

If it wasn't causing you any problems to begin with, it'd probably last 250K miles. But, at 95K...you've already gone through the assache of pulling everything apart...it's so cheap and easy, why not?
