Default Changed my plugs for the first time...

and wow is it a pain in the ***. it took me about 4 and 1/2 hours to do. thats with running an errand and taking my time. i think i could prob do it again under 2. they are all easy except #6 and #8 on the pass side. i had more of a prob with #6 then i did #8 for some reason. but finally got it done..had to take off air tubes from exhuast manifolds which made it way easier. i didnt touch the coil packs though. didnt seem like it would have helped much. my arms look like i stuck em in a cheese grader . but hopefully it saved me lots of money. still waitin on some wires from jegs.

To anyone who wants to save some money...the plugs are worth doing yourself if you have a good chunk of a day open to work on em. whats funny is i changed my front brakes right before i did plugs, new rotors and pads both sides..and it took less then 1 hour.

I had a lot of trouble just doing the wires. I had to get the #8 from under the car. I removed coil pack but it didn't help at all.

Ditto the !coilpacks, then DO NOT Replace the last bolt over #8 cylinder on the coilpacks. Dont need it and once you ge tit off you ask Y it was there NEway.
First time, 56min. now, i can chill out, and clean the coilpack, valve cover and all and still be under 50min.

CAT3 is right. I followed that same path. Too bad it took me 8 friggin' hours! Too much weightlifting.

Or do like I did.. leave it slightly loose. Use it to "pivot" the rail out of the way.
