O2 sim trickery
How exactly do 02 sims work? Do they throw off the computer? Is there a better way than using O2 sims while runing without cats?
Thanks

Re: O2 sim trickery
Its funny watching O2 sims in ATAP. You can turn the key to ON and they start going crazy. They just have mayb 6 preset values that they constantly read which makes the computer think the cats are working. I've often wondered just how hard it would be to make an O2 sim. Wouldn't appear to be that hard and someone would make a fortune selling them for around $30

It's called an R/C circuit. They output a square wave with an amplitude that toggles above and below the 0.450mV nominal value. If they set DTCs why would you buy them. Their whole purpose in life is to do just the OPPOSITE. Why do you think they call them O2 Simms anyway? There is a better way. It's called LS1 Edit. You can get as many of them as you want at $500.00 a pop. Go to Carputing. Have your credit card ready when calling.
