The Rear...........
Well i thought about all the mods i'm going to get and realized, i dont have a strong enough rear end, and stock gears So what is the best rear end/ gear set up for a roughly 420 hp car that is a daily driver? Any help is great

Stock rear should hold up ok, as long as you are happy with lauching soft on sticky tires. I usually bust a set of gears in a season. My best last season was an 11.36 @ 119.9 mph. I couldn't hook with 28-11.50/16 ET Streets. Best 60' was a 1.61, I now have more suspension.
This coming season, I'll be going for a 1.4x 60' on a stock 10 bolt.

From what it looks like our almighty GM rear ends just break when ever they want. I mean here someone putting down over 500 Horse and it is still in one piece and yet you see people with almost stock cars blow up rear end after rear end.
If you have cash get a 12 Bolt or a 9" for precaution, but wait till this one blows if you want.
