Z06 in CT
Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I'm in the Navy stationed in Groton, CT. I've owned a 2002 Corvette Z06 for about a year now. I plan on keeping it pretty stock for a little while. The only two things I've done to it are change the shift **** & gotten rid of the CAGS.
You guys will probably all laugh at me but the car I have that I am most proud of is my '99 Buick Regal GS. I bought it new and have put a lot into it and love the sleeper effect of it.
Nice to meet you guys
Andrew

Thanks! Performance wise my Regal won't come close to my Vette...it came stock with the L67 - 3.8l supercharged V6. Through the years I've:
Here are some more pictures too
Tomorrow I will be installing 12" powerslot slotted rotors & F-body calipers.

- Lowered it with SSC springs and KYB-GR2 struts (1 1/2" drop)
- Installed red powdercoated GM Performance parts handling kit (thicker sway bars, tubular trailing arms & Front & Rear strut tower braces)
- 4" JMB fender well induction with a K&N filter
- Black powder coated 1994 Mustang GT rims with 245/55/16's installed
- Dual SLP loud mouth exhaust with 2.5" mandrel bends
- Modular pully system with 3.8" pully installed (dropping to a 3.25" when I intercool it)
- ZZP programmed PCM
- Tinted head lights & tail lights
- GSX grill and standard badges removed
- Custum paint job with flat black racing stripes & bottom rocker panels
- Quick enough to make a Mustang GT driver $hit himself

Skip the new **** and just get a C6Z shifter assembly... shorter throw and incredible **** w/o the downsides of most aftermarket short shifters (increased noise and side to side effort).

Sorry to bring back this thread...but I just took the Regal to the track for the first time 2 weeks ago, and again last week. I got a PB of 13.85 @ 100.02mph. I know the time is pretty pathetic compared to some of the cars on here...but for a car with 158,000 miles...I'm pretty happy with it. Now I just have to get my headers installed!

Not bad for a grocery getter. Now, concentrate more on making the fast car faster and not the slow car less slow. BTW, your 60ft is killing you in the regal. Is it FWD? That would be another reason to focus on the vette.

Thanks...I checked out the timeslips section...it would put it on page 20...above a some WS6, Z28's & GTO's. I'm Happy. But not content! Since you're a Subaru guy you'll have to check out my wife's Subaru too. '04 Forester XT (2.5l turbo).
Yeah the Regal is FWD...most of us are happy when we get a 2.0 60'. Eventually I want to swap a LS2 & drive train from a '05-'06 GTO into it...the dimensions of the two cars are very close.

im all about sleepers, something about the look on people's face when a grandma car spanks them really does it for me. those foresters are basically STi motors with a smaller more friendly turbo setup. as you probably know, youll never be content, set a goal of 12.00 then when you met it, how can i get 11.99 out of it its a diease but one that is a hell of alotta fun. id love to check out the whips. let you know when im headed up that way.

I'll be here at least another 3 years. My Regal is parked behind the galley monday-friday. On really nice days I'll bring out the Z06. If you are ever up that way stop by and check them out.
