Default rods

i have a question about the rods. I tore the motor apart and i saw the rods and pistons. ok the beveled edge of the rod caps are facing towards eachother. i think i remember reading a post where it says that they are supposed to be facing away from eachother. is this correct and if they are on wrong could they effect oil pressure

The bearing tangs on the big end should all face the driver side. I don't think having this wrong would affect oil pressure, though.

It will cause piston slap and premature wear. chafered edge of the big end toward crank.
