Default O2 simulators purpose?

i know they trick the computer into thinking the rear O2's are installed and fine when running an ory, but do they only turn off the check engine light or will they help the car with little things like, oh say better gas mileage? wheres the best place to get them?

The rear O2 sensors do nothing for the performance or economy of the engine, simply there to monitor the eficiency of the cats.

You can't buy new O2 sims anymore. EPA outlawed them as the tamper with the emissions system.

They do prevent the check engine light. They are for OFF-ROAD use only. The ones that are still in stock can be sold but Caspers doesn't make them any more. We still have some while they last.
