Default car is totaled.......

well, after an accident monday night that happened in front of the hulen hooters my car is now totaled. My friend and I were leaving work (circuit city there) that night and he didnt know about that island there I guess and went up on it and swerved into my lane causing me to avoid him and go on the grass and ended up loosing control of the car and going to a guard rail. Thankfully nobody was hurt and he stayed and help and everything...but the car is totaled for sure.

Im sure those who have been to that hulen hooters know about that stupid setup they have right out front. Even the cops said its a dumb setup and plenty of accidents have happened there before. Oh well, I guess it will be time for a LS1

Was your buddy drunk or just going too fast? Not sure how you could miss what the road looks like in front of you, coming out of a slow parking lot.

Sucks to see your car like that. LS1 time?

The area where it happened is kinda "tricky" to see at night...he said hes never been that way before. But the mistake on his part was speeding up when he saw it to try and cut in front of me...when he should have slowed down and got behind me instead of causing me to hit the brake and fly up on the curb to avoid hitting him. I never really argued more about it because thats pretty much what happened and hes at fault and his insurance is paying for my loss.

Yeah, a ls1 would be a nice replacement but all depends what I get off the 6 which wont be much.

damn jason that sux. that was a super clean 6. you should be able to get more than enough money back for a decent LS1. and if you added a little more money to it you could probably get a pretty clean LS1.

glad you're ok tho. would have really sucked to total the car and be hurt.

ha ha yeah i moved up to UNT so i'm never in ft. worth anymore.

i love the Z28 tho. you should upgrade too. just get ready for gas money doubling every week... but it's worth it.

Wow you sound like a really nice guy. I would not care about the car but I would be pissed at one of my dumbass friends for running me off the road.

I have and LS1 you could be in for under $10K. Its an 00 Formula, T-Top, Chrome wheels, new tires and brakes and all the services.

Nice car, $9950. Also, I am a body shop estimator so if you need anything with the insurance, let me know.
