Default TI welding in Houston

Anyone know of someone/a shop who can weld titanium?

You modding the z06 exhaust already?

I run a fab shop here (JV PIPING), and we can weld it, but we realy dont do work for the public. Sorry

It can be very testing stuff to weld. The best way to do it is just weld it in a purge box, if not you can purge the pipe and use a trailing gas. Alos it needs to be very clean. use argon, not nitrogen to puge

Like Lionel said, it needs to be purge welded or the metal will "sugar" up. Call local chassis shops to see if they do purge welding. Most good shops will have a way to purge weld stuff for when they weld stainless pieces that are going to get very hot (i.e. Turbo kits).
