quick drill mod Q
Do the LT1's require the drill mod? I did a search and came up with nothing on this. I don't wanna take it apart just to find I don't have the restriction. This is for a 96 ws6 if it matters.
Thanks guys!

The lt1 clutch line could also benifit from the drill mod, the fitting on the hose comming from the master, is near identicle to the ls1 master line
now the other side of the line that goes into the slave, its the 90° i dont know for sure if is also restricted, something that you couldnt access anyways with a drill bit, ill have to rip it off the old line to check.

i didnt even find out about the drill mod untill a few weeks ago, i have a 2002 adjustable master cylinder in mine now, (new setup)
i never had any problems with my lt1 hydraulics, no problems speed shifting or anything. when i had my line out i test drilled the lt1 line before the ls1 line. The lt1 line fitting starts out big and then has the restriction furthur inside the line. the ls1 line started out smaller also with a restriction furthur in as well.
i never heard of the lt1 lines having the problems as the ls1 lines do restriction and all. might have to do with the different slave setups requireing different ammounts of fluid to work
