Yeah would not want to run up on one of those.. you would want to race him but not...
We had an issue when I lived Albuquerque, NM the cops were in their SS camaros and z28's unmarked.. and regular license plates...
They would pic races with people on the streets... They had limo tinted windows...
So they would pic a race, then pull you over... It was funny for a while.
They ended up losing alot of those cases because of them instigating things..
Some guy video taped the cop screwing with him on the highway, and that started big ol stink, and got all those cops in trouble. They then had to put the police license plates on the cars, and have some kind of marking.

I'm surprised there are many left out there. They're atleast 5 years old now, most departments have quit using them. The local DPS guys had to turn theirs in a long time ago and go back to Crown Vics.

Police do not like to be in Camaros/Firebirds simply because it is a very uncomfortable atmosphere to be couped in for 8 + hours. That is why their preference was in those big capris when they got a hold of those in fleet form.
To this day, I wonder what that Houston Police SUZUKI SAMURAI is doing. He sat on the side of the highway (45 north by what used to be Best Buy). How would he catch up to anything inthat 0 to 60 in 17 second thing? *shruggs*
