Default In a pickel... suggestions?

Alright - here's the deal. I just bought a set of OEM Z06 wheels w/ tires. When I read the description, it said the fronts were GY D3's and had 90% treadwear and the rears were BFG drag radials with only 2600 miles on em. Ok cool - getting new wheels and pretty much brand new tires. Come to find out - the life expectancy of those BFGs is only ~7k miles!!! I thought i was getting new tires in the deal and I can't afford to buy 285/295's right now @ $200 a pop!! Any suggestions? The only way I could make this work is transfer over the rears I'm currently running which have some tread left but are only 275's. That's too small from what I've read for the 10.5" wide rear Z06 rim. Bah!

Thanks for any suggestions....

- Ryan

I'd just drive on the DRs, but becareful. Especially in the rain. When I used to DD on BFG DRs I would go no quicker then 30-35 in the rain. Almost wrecked my car one time in the rain, so im extra careful in the rain.

Get yourself some Summito's from Tire Rack. About 120 bucks for a 285/295 tire. IMO

Thx for the suggestions - I've look at the Sumi's and they're still around $280 for 2 295's. Not bad at all for new tires but still pricey for me. How many miles do you think the BFG drag radials would last if I just drove em easy? Mostly city driving. Thx.
