Default Removing Manual Window Crank??

Jesus christ! This SHOULD be one of the easiest things to do, but NOOOOO... I can't figure out how to get the damn thing off so I can replace my front door speakers. I have an '01 SS and have searched and searched but can't find anything, apparently because manual windows are a rather rare thing... lol Anyone have ANY ideas? Thanks!!

Although an old handle, you get the jist . . .

The auto parts store does sell a tool. Looks somewhat like a spakle knife with a slot cut out of it to push the "c" clip off.

Yeah... I found it and got it off using a small flathead screwdriver. I think I'm gonna invest in one of those tools, though... handy to have. Thanks!

I bought one of those tools and it was a pain in the butt and just scratched up the door panel or the handle. It's easiest to wrap a rag behind the window crank and work it back and forth. The clip will snag on the rag and pop off but not go shooting off where you'll never find it like using the tool or a screwdriver.
