I am looking for a thread that I saw a little while ago that had pics of what is needed to make clearance for a wider wheel... I think it entailed hammering in some of the wheel well and grinding down a part of the axle. If anyone can give it to me or if you have pics and/or input of your own, I would appreciate it thanks.

Im assuming you mean 315s in the rear of the car. You will need to massage the inner fender to gain some clearance, and depending on the offset and the rideheight of the car, you may need to roll the fenders. I was lucky and only needed to beat the living crap out of my inner wheel wells with a hammer. I didn't have to roll the fenders at all.
